You realize this meme is complete bullshit, right? Refs/umpires had nothing to do with Serena, the Saints and Vegas losing. At all. Those losses were on Serena, the Saints and Vegas. All of them.

I am going to have to disagree with you about the Vegas comment. In all the other sports, when a infraction is called, the
penalized team does not lose a player from the field! But hockey is the lone sport where a player removed from the field
can drastically impact a game or a series.

Vegas screwed Vegas.

The end.

Newer rule: Blue Jackets and Golden Knights fans shut the fuck up until next post-season.

You didn't lose because of the refs. The end.

Absolutely right. I mean bad calls and no calls have absolutely no impact on the game. Refs only purpose is to look like an official.

What are you talking about? Should Vegas have stopped 4 goals, yeah. Should the Saints have put it away before then, sure. But that doesn't matter and is a moronic argument. It is the refs job to call the game correctly. In all of these cases, it wasn't and these bad calls or no calls immediately led to a direct impact on the game.

The Saints had the ball first in OT. That loss is all on them, but do you hear them blaming themselves? No you don't. Serena was outclassed in the US Open final, but refuses to admit such a thing. Instead she points to the refs because she knows no one in the media, nor her "fans", will call her out for her poor play.

That changes things about Vegas how exactly?

To use a popular axiom...."if you didn't want get scored on 4 times in 5 minutes, maybe you should've stopped them from scoring on you!"

I don't know about tennis, so whatever about that.

If the game is called correctly, it does not mean that Vegas or the Saints win the game. But it is likely. For the Saints, it would have reset the downs and put them at what was it... the 5, the 4, likely getting a TD? Forcing the Rams to need a TD to tie rather than settle for a FG. For Vegas... there would have been 10 minutes left in a 5v5 game where San Jose couldn't get anything going. Instead, they were given HALF of regulation game time with a man advantage. Sure, Vegas should have stopped it and there really is no justifying 4 goals, but again... Vegas should have never been in that position in the first place. It is due to a bad call that led to that. Fact.

So again, should a team have allowed this or that is irrelevant to a correctly called game which is what I am talking about. Like I said, we will agree that Vegas shouldn't have allowed 4 goals. We can agree that Vegas still had life as they were able to take it to OT. But we will NOT agree that the refs did not have a wildly huge impact on that fact.

I have been trying lol. But San Jose keeps getting the advantage in these BS calls/no calls.

I feel for the Blues, but as of right now... if you are playing San Jose, you have ten people on the ice that are against you.

6 wearing San Jose gear and 4 wearing the new San Jose black & white striped gear.

They did. Only problem was that the refs didn't see it that way so they had to invent a call.

I'm more inclined to use the maxim "Call the game correctly".

Sure, but this had an incredible impact on the game. Even if they called a minor, it would have been over after that first goal. The fact that it was a 5 minute major literally IS the difference. You can go back and check, throughout that series, game 7 is the only one I complained about lol NOT because it matters most, but because it had a BS call that was incredibly impactful to the game.

I didn't complain about game 1, 5, or 6 because Vegas should have done more. Still not happy about giving up a short handed goal in OT to lose, but that was no ones fault but Vegas. This is a bit different.

I'm sure you didn't complain when they disallowed a goal and called a penalty to boot when MAF embelished being touched

I'll say this about the 5 minute major.
The officials got it wrong due to the optics on the ice.
Something that's not entirely uncommon for them

FanDuel is refunding cash to those who had coin on the Blues moneyline I heard.

If a betting site is refunding bets for actions that had nothing to do with them, well, you probably fucked up real good. Betting on the NHL is become like betting on WWE. At least the refs aren't on the take.

Also, the good name of Mick McGeough (may he rest in peace) is being besmirched with these zebras making all these mistakes while being adorned with the 'MICK' arm patch.
