Because it didn't go directly into the goal off the hand pass. Same way if a player kicks the puck and another player touches it before it goes in that is not an illegal play. Only if he kicks it and it goes straight in.

If Meier would have gloved that puck directly into the net, it would have been reviewed and a no goal decision would have been made. The hand pass in this case is just like a high stick that knocks down the puck and the puck goes directly to a teammate who then proceeds to shoot the puck into the net, it's a judgement call by the refs.
