You are absolutely right about WVU saving his career in that regard. But when people sit at a computer and peck away at a keybord moaning about what is ‘right and wrong’ and how ‘they would never even think about doing such a thing’ I call them liar. True. But as desperate as NFL teams are for QBs, there will be a lot worse than him taken.

This is very true. I remember towards the end of last college football season when Allen was considered a 2nd or 3rd round flier. While Lamar Jackson might be brought in as a WR. Allen goes early 1st and Jackson late 1st. I am rather certain Grier will wind up a first round pick.

I actually like him as a prospect, FWIW.
