2019? Let's be honest, since the late 80's there's been less than a handful of seasons where the Eagles didn't cheap out at WR. Lots of #2/#3 guys.

I don’t think they cheap out. I just think the scouting has been terrible. One of the biggest roster problems now is they are paying out a lot of money to declining WRs. They have 2 receivers making over 10 million this year. Being cheap isn’t the problem. It’s having older, declining WR at huge salaries.

They’ve done a great job bringing in talent except for WR and CB. It’s strange. Haven’t landed a true pro bowl type #1 in the draft since Mike Quick in the early 80s. Crazy!

Or you could say the same scouting that brought in Lane Johnson, Jason Kelce, Zach Ertz, Brandon Graham, Fletcher Cox

If anyone really believes Wentz didn’t play because he was injured they are truly stupid. At that time of year, ALL players are “injured” (ie playing hurt) but he wasn’t hurt enough to go on IR?
