"Wells Report" Released on Incognito/Martin Bullying Case

Yeah, that's all absurd. The only thing I would even consider that they could have done differently is remove him from the team earlier, and even that isn't their fault if he hid that he was nuts.

I'm not disputing his head is broken, because it is. But that's not the dolphins fault, and that's not incognito or the other's fault. He hid the fact that he was a head case, so how can you blame people for the normal shit that goes on exacerbating it? It's not their fault he's a nut case.


As for anything about Martin for no reason, that's bullshit. There was a reason. You don't break the privacy of the locker room to the press. The second that he did that, he sealed that he will never be accepted in any locker room ever again, and that's well deserved.

Read the report.

Private investigators went through every situation and came out with facts that only the accused can refute. Which they did not refute. They admitted to many of them. The O line coach gave one of them a male blow up doll. Incognito, Pouncey, and Jerry all 3 verbally abused a lot of people. Not just Martin. Martin is not the only victim here. If you read the report, other people step forward. Not named though.

When you have multiple teammates coming out supporting Martin's claims, the investigators provided all of these facts, and all the evidence given in the report; There is no argument here anymore. All of you against Martin are fighting a losing battle and need to give it up.

I really don't get how any of you can keep denying how bad Incognito really is after all that is out there on him. Is Martin suffering from some form of mental illness? Yes, but had Incognito not been a total and complete asshole it wouldn't have ever caused this kid to leave the team.

Guard Nate Garner was thought by some to receive more abuse than Martin. After Martin left the team on Oct. 28, Garner sent him a text message that read, ““Hey bro if u need to talk to anyone I’m here for ya. I have been dealing with this (expletive) for 6 years. I hope ur doin ok.” So he was abusing others besides Martin.

“One player, whom we found credible, said that Incognito was “a good player, but he is kind of a disease; he divides a locker room. . . .[Incognito] is the kind of guy who has to be the alpha male.” This player went on to say that Incognito “feels like he has to make fun of the younger players,” and “people join in with him so he doesn’t make fun of them.”

So not only was he abusing several players on the team, but had others joining in to help him just to avoid his wrath themselves. He is a complete cancer and shouldn't ever play football again. Sorry, but this kind of asshat doesn't deserve your support.

People need to look at the whole history of Icognito and realize this incident with Miami is not an isolated event. He has been doing this crap his whole career. There is a reason that even though he is actually a decent player teams keep dismissing him. In college he actually caused a player to leave the team because of his bullying. He has started fights on the field on more than one occasion. He was suspended by different head coaches. He has assault charges galore on his record. He was kicked out of Nebraska and Oregon both in college. He has been voted the dirtiest player by other NFL players. And many more incidents that I could go on about. This guy is a troubled individual that has a history of doing the very things that caused Martin to leave the team.

What saddens me is that Pouncey was in on it. He was supposed to be the team leader. After reading all of this, I'm honestly just confused as a fan I just don't understand how other teammates didn't see any of this. Maybe they could avoid Philbin. But there's no way to avoid other teammates. They had to know. The entire locker room. And nobody stopped it :/

The Trainer said this is why he was afraid of standing up to Icognito. He was afraid not only of Icognito and what he would possibly do to him but also in the fact of him getting fired. Who is more important to the organization...Icognito or some trainer? I would probably have just taken it as well and tried to push through in hopes eventually it would go away.

That's one thing, but to verbally support Incognito, and then turn around when the investigators show up and say that they feel bad for Martin and have been texting him wondering how he's doing.
