Cavs are winning easily as I expect. Nothing to see here.

Just like I expected the Spurs to dominate last week.

No big deal fro Miami in the long run

2 more games against the Cavs and right now there are 5 teams beneath Miami that are only separated by at most 3 games....

And none of those other teams play the Cavs?

IF the Heat can field a healthy starting 5 of Chalmers, Wade, Deng, Bosh and Whiteside for the majority of the rest of the season, they will be more than fine.

I know we've been terrible at home, but our schedule is very favorable.

My point clearly went over your head.

Detroit who I consider the one threat to Miami were defeated by the Spurs.

Losing to the Cavs is no big deal

Which is exactly why I'm not worried.

Brooklyn schedule is brutal.

Detroit is in the middle of a brutal stretch as well. Miami come back from the break with a pretty favorable schedule and Wade will be back also

I look at loses more than I look at actual games behind.

Miami will be at 30 losses after this one. The 2 teams closest to them that are currently out of the playoffs is Brooklyn & Boston (who I don't consider a playoffs threat at all) are at 31 losses but Miami won the season series against both which means they have the tiebreker. The team I consider a real threat is Detroit and we have 3 less losses than they do. When they come back from the break 6 of their first 7 games come against Chicago, Cleveland, Washington 2x, Pelicans, & Houston. If they're able to win more than 2 of those games I would be stunned.

Indy is only a threat if George comes back ASAP.

Miami should be fine.

We lost James and have terrible guards.
Now, see if you can figure it out.

Because we're fans? And obviously with Wade out we're missing the one perimeter player who can constantly break down a defense and create.

this is the first time i have seen Whiteside play and i thought he played decently...he played better on the offensive side tonight with the 5 offensive boards than the defensive side - with Tristan and Mozgov practically perfect from the field....he is definitely a solid get for the Heat...I cant imagine who would be getting those minutes if it was not him.

and your right- Wade makes your offense go in such a huge way and opens things up for Bosh...Chalmers actually played ridiculous tonight...he really really hates LeBron doesnt he?

Miami's only goal is to claw their way into the playoffs. A healthy heat team in the playoffs will be a mighty dangerous first round match up for anybody.

id rather have the Cavs play the Bucks or Hornets or Pistons than a fully healthy heat team of Wade, Bosh, Deng, Whiteside.....we shall see how realistic that is

He is actually friends with Lebron and they still talk often...and just for the record he actually been playing well for the last week.

He's much better than Cole and not even close

:agree:

If we're healthy the only team I wouldn't want to play is Cleveland. I would love to face Toronto, Washington, or Chicago.

just saying- he had a "great" game tonight by his standards and still shot only 38%/33% and he is shooting 37% from the field in February

he had another "great" game for him against the Knicks

in a combined 53 minutes vs. the mighty pistons and celtics he had 5 points combined and a 7-5 assists to turnover ratio...all though- in his defense you did say last week- and that was more like a week and half ago

Mozgov with a season high in points tonight on 9/11 shooting.

Tristan Thompson 17points on 7/8 shooting

the Cavs really beat up the Heat inside.

your shot blocker had 2 less blocks than Mozgovs 2 blocks....just saying

gotta give Whiteside a ton of credit on the offensive end though...17 points on over 50% shooting and 7 offensive boards is really nice work
