Still waiting for someone to show me these teams who deserve to be ranked more after beating so many quality opponents.

Oregon? Baylor? Ohio St? I guess according to the standards put forth in this thread, none of them deserve to be ranked at all right? It's just media bias?

Why did/is ESPN pimping these teams:

Oklahoma
Oklahoma St
Stanford
Louisville
UCLA
Miami
Texas Tech

1 - They have a decent win and losing to texas isn't terrible when you're oklahoma
2 - no idea (but, they're using a very sec approach to get their ranking)
3 - one loss and three decent wins
4. no idea
5. one good loss and two decent wins
6. undefeated...with a decent win
7. undefeated and has a very typical sec resume

yall mothafukers are dumb... just sayin. Getting all bent out of shape over ranked 20th teams and shit. Yall just take care of your conference and get a good position in the standing and you'll get your bowl game. it's not like the rankings are screwing you over besides the very top... and looks like the very top has the conferences pretty well represented.

Who ya beat? Seriously, do any of you have eyeballs?

Have you seen what Alabama has done to their opponents the last few games? Even though it was against inferior opponents shutouts are shutouts..... They are DOMINATING teams.

gonna do the same thing here....

Have you seen what Oregon is doing to their opponents this season? Even though they are playing teams that arent all that they are DOMINATING their opponents. Putting them away ahead by +40 in 2 and a half quarters.

FSU should now join these 2^^^^ Seriously, did you see what they did to Clemson on their own turf.

There, that sums it up. No other teams have dominated the way these 3 teams have. Their is an obvious seperation between these teams and the rest.

This doesnt mean that one of these 3 doesnt stumble. Going 13-0 is tough to do.

Oregon can win a natty championship. Only reason Auburn won last time was cause Chip got to cute in the 1st. Whats that chip.
:stfu:

MY B CHIP YA JUST GOT TO CUTE AND COST YO TEAM A NATTY! HOWS PHILLY!

You are right. Never would have been there without him. But in that game he was too freaking stubborn. Plus Thomas played like horse shit in zone read. Think he was scurred. He missed a handful of reads where he hands off and doesnt keep, Oregon gets 1st downs and scores tds on 2 plays.

Cluster fuck

That was a big ass jump fer awwbun. I'm sure some had to do with the teams that lost but maybe they just wanted to make the Iron Bowl seem relevant again. :noidea:

13 spots in one week is ridiculous 7 weeks into the season. Especially when your reasoning behind it is beating some overrated A&M team who could barely squeak their ass past Ole Piss the week before and that being their signature win of the season thus far.

Mamba, Baylor is dominating teams far worse than the 3 teams you mentioned. Yes, their schedule has been weak, but for fuck's sake, they are dropping 70 + a game.......

jesus the sec's sure love defending this and saying theres no bias.....

but please explain this.

auburn is sitting at 6-1 with their only loss coming to the current #13 LSU

nebraska is sitting at 5-1 with their only lose coming to the current #12 UCLA

auburn is ranked #11, nebraska is ranked #24.......WTF is wrong with this picture here??????

if nebraska had the exact same resume, only they along with ucla were in the sec, there is no way in hell they would be as low as 24. considering that they were a preseason #18, right now they would have jumped to somewhere in the 13-15 spot.

sec teams get that benefit of the doubt that other teams dont. if they go undefeated playing a bunch of average to bad teams and lose to one really good fellow sec team, they ALWAYS jump pretty high up in the rankings.

and it turns into a game of musical chairs because a fellow b10 team beating #24 isnt that big of a deal, and wont do much for their sos, however if nebraska moves just 10 spots up due to in large part to an sec bias, then those b10 teams who manage to beat UNL the b10 team that knocks off UNL gets included in the top 25 as well. all these teams feed off each other wether their respective rankings are warranted or not when there's EIGHT FUCKING TEAMS from the same conference who have been in the top 11 just halfway though the season

A&M barely beats Ole Miss and they jump to #7, A&M loses to #24 Auburn and Auburn jumps thirteen spots to #11 and A&M falls to #16. :L :L :L

How far should they fall? They lost a close game in the last minute to a team that had a similar record as them. It's not like they A&M got blown out. Oregon State lost to an FCS team this year and they're #25 in the BCS...how does that happen? And don't say it's because they're 6-1...that 1 loss is a bad loss.

And let's not forget...there's still like 8 weeks left in the season. None of these rankings mean anything right now.

IT was all the hype by ESPN. They said how cute Oregon Was and Chip bought into it thinking he was the harlem globtrotters trying to show the world how masterful his offense was. ESPN did it on purpose they knew Oregon would wanna get cute and do triple reverses and shit. Auburn? Where the fuck are they now................. THEY LOOK LOST AF!

Look kids. Oregon is to quick and fast, they have the best secondary in the league. If your out of position on Mariota he will torch you with legs or arm, he sells the read option better than anyone where SEC teams will act lose the ball in a second. Listen Kids your not gonna beat Oregon this year no team in the SEC could beat Oregon. Your qbs would be able to throw a pass because of the tight cov. :suds:
