this is whats on their front page of ESPN right now........

espn headline: SEC depth

tagline: The SEC's national title run could soon end. And the biggest threat isn't Florida State or Oregon. No, it's the league's depth.

article headline: The SEC cannibalizes its own

intro: Even with a freshman quarterback, No. 2 Florida State might be good enough to end the SEC's unprecedented string of seven consecutive BCS national championships at the Rose Bowl on Jan. 6.

Or maybe it will be No. 3 Oregon, which has a stout defense to go along with its high-scoring offense.

Or maybe even No. 4 Ohio State, which doesn't look as strong as the three teams ranked ahead of it, but probably has the easiest path to finishing the season unbeaten.

Ever since Urban Meyer guided Florida to a BCS national championship in 2006 and an SEC team won every BCS title since, we've wondered what it would take to finally end the SEC's dominance.

NCAA sanctions?

Alabama coach Nick Saban returning to the NFL?

Meyer using an SEC blueprint to build a championship team at Ohio State?

Well, if we've learned anything over the past two weeks, it's that the SEC might end up beating itself.

i kinda saw this coming.......

this coupled with their "mizz/aggie prove sec is so good" article from a few days ago and its impossible to argue that espn doesnt love :bj: the sec and promoting their agenda

ESPIN is trying to find a way that they can have an all SEC national championship. lol

This is nothing new.. Urban was saying in his presser today that he couldn't understand why Wisconsin wasn't ranked higher. ESPN has built a mythology around the SEC that they are unbeatable and no one else outside of the deep south can play ball with them. Unfortunately for the SEC they are down this season and might take some serious lumps during the bowl season.

Yes, no way those computer rankings have built in bias especially the coaches poll. Strictly impossible for coaches to listen to ESPIN BS and allow it to influence their judgment. This has been brought up numerous times to the point of ad nauseam.

I haven't even said anything about the Harris poll voters...

Those are human polls.

His question was about "computer" rankings.

LMAO!!!

The B-one-G'ers have gone completely delusional. Losses are wins. Humans are computers.

ESPN has created a race of Droids that have replaced all the coaches and Harris poll voters.

This is a bigger conspiracy than anyone could have imagined.

If a computer is using a team's ranking as part of their formula (strength of schedule, etc.).. they are just increasing the effect of human polls/bias.

they beat the team on the road that beat the team that beat you at home.

and though the transitive property of football doesn't work south carolina is better than central florida. and central florida is at least penn state and michigan's equal, and probably their superior.

ESPN's "investment into the SEC" counts on those southern HONKS to win, not beat the crapperz outta each other top to bottom each week, gawd forbid IF an ACC, PAC or midwest conference foe put a challenge up on a 2-3 loss SEC Champ!:laugh3:

What he meant is the bcs is 2/3 human bias polls. Imo only computers should be used.

Anybody have a link to the actual computer rankings?

Also notice the teams that the computer has any bit higher than the human polls...that is the computer having those teams.so.much higher it is out weighing 2 other polls in an average.
