No, Mojo. My handle I've had for years. At the time I lived in North Carolina but now I am in Okinawa. Many of you think I am new but actually I was very active on the ESPNboards until they changed the format. I came back to the boards recently to find many of you still there. Hope the rest of our friends will show here.

After ESPN all I hope for is better control of the trolls like PATRIOTSLOSE et. al.. None of us mind opposing views but sometimes it did get sickening. I actually stopped posting and reading over there and I was pretty active as my pal briz can attest to.

Looking forward to some football and less nastiness.

ACR is into several names at PatsFan. I recognize some of the trolls here by there style but they seem to be feeling this place out so far. I'm hoping for more action come pre-season.

Upon learning of ESPN's 'demise' (is NOTHING going right for them over there?), I came here after reading suggestions that this was the place to be. I don't quite know what to make of this upcoming season, except to say that we need people (**cough** Gronk, Brady **cough**) to stay healthy for the duration.

Biggest thing is to shake the nagging and growing suspicion that the Patriots have become a team 'Built for the regular season.'

It's been the defense. I think it will be significantly improved and we'll be in better shape for a run this year.

I don't know if the above is from a mod or not but... IMO, there should be some level of trash talking allowed on a football board. It is football after all. There should also be a degree of freedom given to reasonable troll-like posts because they make boards lively. Again...IMO and based on experience over at ESPN.

Welcome Krafty, I agree, If you throw out the obnoxious ones it can get boring. Nothing makes a board more lively than disagreement. Some take over the board, like ACR and Patriotslose. Patslose used to be funny, then his need for attention overwhelmed his usefulness. There has to be a limit. It CAN'T be because somebody said something stupid. We would all be gone! (except for me and you, of course)

agreed, with this eclectic group of plorsters you will have disagreements, unwarrented or excessive attacks on people or groups would be trolling.. easy enough.. if you have to question if its trolling.. it probably is.. but its not like you arnt given a chance to correct action..
