Some of it is Reid, but the Cheifs have not had a decent QB since Trent Green, and he was not all that great. Alex Smith is a huge upgrade at the most important position and I think it makes a very big difference. Castle was averaging around 3 turnovers a game, Smith rarely turns it over.

The Chiefs are a damn decent team. They have a stout defense and a capable defense led by a big-play RB and a steady QB. Justin Houston is one of the emerging young pass rushers in the league; his 6.5 sacks through three weeks is impressive.

I think they have a great shot at one of the two AFC wildcard spots.

Very stout D. The scary part if I was a Chief fan. While Alex is great at managing the game. Succop is slowing reminding me of Akers. It is only week three, but you have to try and force SOME plays not all. FG's will not compete with Denver.

IMO one game above (maybe even below) 500 the rest of the way gets them in for sure. There is average 6 new teams in each year lately. It is early yet, but IMO Texans/Colts Chiefs/Dolpins vying for the 2 spots.

They actually corrected the stats for last nights game. They changed his 3.5 to 4.5 to bring his total to 7.5 on the season leading the NFL.
