Peterson says he'll play and these are things in which an athlete could zone in for a determined effort or understandably zone out. Having a two-year old myself, I could see the latter, but know how players play at times like this.

Just wanted to pass along in case it changes or confirms your prediction for that game. It shows a bit of his MVP-ness for this to be a key to beating an ok to good Carolina team (as opposed to needing everyone you got for a Denver team, for example).
