Here is yet another sports pundit who states what I (and many others) have been stating all along. He compares last night's loss to the Dolphins loss a year or two ago where we sucked really badly. In fact the two losses are nearly identical in just about every comparison category and play characteristic one could compare. This author unequivocally identifies the same McVay pattern of when-in-doubt, pass that was demonstrated in last night's game as well as that horrible Dolphins loss with Goff as QB.
This myopic rigidity of McVay forgetting the run and passing only, when running the football is exactly what the game is providing and should be done is explicitly suggested by this author, that when McVay employed a form of the Jumbo offense against an opponent who was running a form of the 46 defense, McVay and the Rams won the game. The more I read about this habit of McVay's the more I get annoyed with it. But you all should read this article and decide for yourselves because it summarizes what we have been stating all along.
