Here is yet another sports pundit who states what I (and many others) have been stating all along. He compares last night's loss to the Dolphins loss a year or two ago where we sucked really badly. In fact the two losses are nearly identical in just about every comparison category and play characteristic one could compare. This author unequivocally identifies the same McVay pattern of when-in-doubt, pass that was demonstrated in last night's game as well as that horrible Dolphins loss with Goff as QB.

This myopic rigidity of McVay forgetting the run and passing only, when running the football is exactly what the game is providing and should be done is explicitly suggested by this author, that when McVay employed a form of the Jumbo offense against an opponent who was running a form of the 46 defense, McVay and the Rams won the game. The more I read about this habit of McVay's the more I get annoyed with it. But you all should read this article and decide for yourselves because it summarizes what we have been stating all along.

Wasn't DH like 5 ypc??

When you say not good enough, what are you expecting?

Hell the running game ended up 4.5 ypc!
Henderson is averaging 4.6 a carry on 121 carries with 3 broken tackles on running plays. 3 that is abysmal.

Apparently, McVay's rigid habit of forgetting some of his offensive weapons was not just encapsulated by the Jackson affair. Now he is doing it with some RBs, WRs, and TEs like Skowronek and most predominantly Kendall Blanton. This happens when McVay goes into pass-only mode which was most of the game last night and the loss to the Dolphins in 2020. This is getting downright ridiculous. In the meantime, the guy the Rams should sign as a WR is Trishton Jackson who is on the Vikings PS.

We just couldn't get on track and it started with abandoning the run and going to pass-only mode.

He’s averaging 4.6 yards a carry.

Who gives a crap about the broken tackles.

If he was averaging 3.0, then you can have a beef about only 3 broken tackles. But not at 4.6 a clip.

Derrick Henry was only averaging 4.3 for crying out loud, and he has led the league in rushing for 2 1/2 years. Why? Because his coach runs the freakin ball- a lot.

Exactly, you don't need to be a human joy stick to be an effective runner. What matters is a coach that knows his RB can get 4.5/5 yds a clip and commits to running it.

If the Offensive line doesn't get their shit together, Stafford will become Bulgerized.
ah man... .that term. I also remember during the Martz error(aka era) that there was a disregard for the OL as well. Remember that turd John St. Clair that was suppose to be the LT and ended up being the turnstyle getting our QB's flattened.

What a trash O-line that was, Jermaine. BTW, Creed Humphrey who I was screaming for the Rams to take at Center with the pick we took midget boy at is having a helluva a year. A 6'5 320lbs, this dude is awesome and is one of the reasons Mahomes doesn't end-up on his back alot.

"Tyler Higbee Touchdown Called Back"

"The one time the Rams did connect for a touchdown when it mattered was in the third quarter when Stafford looked right and then scrambled a bit to find the tight end Higbee at the back of the end zone. Stafford delivered a great pass and Higbee made the catch and the referees called it a touchdown. The play is then reviewed and reversed for Higbee’s foot landing partially out of bounds. It was a close call but, had the score counted, it would have been the touchdown out the gates of the third quarter that might have started the second half rally".

All these Ex-Rams being cut. What's up with that? If we need another QB, Josh Love is available. Got released by the Panthers it looks like.
