Case in point- Akers

Averaging 3.8 ypc in Minny. McVay brings Henderson back and plays him over a rookie like Evans, and he is averaging 3 ypc, and yet he is still getting the bulk of the carries over Freeman who is averaging 5.2 ypc.

Tell me how that makes any sense? Common sense eludes McVay. You can’t be a “genius” and ignore stats and game situations.

Freeman out-snapped Henderson vs the Cowboys 33-29, but that game script was so out of whack after that horrible start that who knows if that holds up.

Precisely ALR. I don't know if this is common behavior among HCs in the NFL but McShitferBrains doesn't even look at many metrics. He is the guy that demands to call the offensive plays yet ignores the measurable results. That's not genius, that is plain laziness and stupidity.

The accounts by the pundits indicate the reason McShitferBrains favors
Henderson over Freeman is Henderson supposedly is the better blocker.

If you are trying to score points to win games with the run game, why is that important? The answer? Because McShitferBrains doesn't want to run, he wants to pass to win games.

So again, this is a myopia detrimental to the team and he should be held accountable for that insanity but the Limp Biscuit isn't going to do anything about any of this.

There is nothing wrong with using both backs to continue to run the ball but Freeman is getting to be a damn good back. Reminds me of another squat heavy RB we signed who helped the Rams get to the Snooperbowl back in 2018.

Just like McDaniels's offense was not working and he got fired today because of it and his players had turned on him, McShitferBrains should be held accountable maybe to the same extent because his offense is not working but his players have yet to turn on him enmasse.

They don't seem to throw to Freeman, so Henderson is getting those snaps.

Can't agree here. Rams are 8th in yards per game, Raiders are 31st. BIG gap there...over 80 ypg. Raiders are dead last in rushing ypg at 70. Rams are middle of the pack (14th) in ppg at 21.9, Raiders are 30th at 15.8.

Rams are lacking a bit in converting those yards to points, likely due to being forced to settle for too many FGs.

It’s not like Freeman can’t catch.

He had 43 receptions a few years ago.

McVay just clearly favors Henderson to a fault.
