Maurice Alexander is going to lose his starting position with that type of play by John Johnson.
Guess who had to reschedule the home game today? We have the old gold and blue unis today and the refs are calling the picky stuff.
What's up OT?Oh how the tide can change in a hurry.
A lot of that going on.Donald was being held there
Thanks Vita. I've been a Ram fan since 1954. I have been in the Coliseum many times in the past 60 years. What's up OT?
Welcome to the Rams boards!
Yep.Donald was being held there
I was kind of miffed by the end result of a play where the officials were to determine whether or not the play was an actual touchdown or not. If Gurley was ruled out of bounds on the play instead of ruling it as a touchdown, then Pete has to use his challenge flag to win the turnover.Plus not getting the Gurley TD early hopefully doesn't screw us!!!

They don't look at a play for possession when an actual fumble occurs and is NOT called on the field to see for instance if a player made the first down or not. Why is this different?
If there was a clear recovered fumble in that example, they don't simply give the other team the ball when reviewing a first down or not, they just look at whether the player gained the first down.
After cooling down (LOL) I thought about it, and the only thing I could come up with was they had to spot the ball and in doing so, the spot resulted in a touchback. (Which is probably it
I guess we would have been better off if they called Gurley out of bounds, because Pete would have had to use up one of his challenges. (Even when they win those challenges, they are not unlimited of course)
Still, I don't see how they use a touchdown review to call a fumble? No fumble was called on the field, and Pete should have had to use his challenge to get that fumble looked at.
The way he was smiling about it, as if he had them look into that too, makes me sick because that's probably what happened.
