That was a stupid play. That was just plain stupid for that play to be called. Meyer out-coached Franklin on that series.

Beat because you couldn't defend the screen …. multiple times. Beat because Franklin is a terrible in game coach. Passes on a FG and the 4th down play was atrocious. Penn State will be good with Franklin there but never great with that type of coaching.

Again. PSU let OSU get into their heads especially on that 96-yard drive by OSU. Everyone seemed to just fade and they leave this game losers.

You are right Sportster. WE just got beat not defending well and Franklin just doesn't have pressure-game-situations coaching skills to handle a guy like Meyer. He got out-coached in the last 5 minutes of this game. Period.

I think Franklin overthought that 4th down figuring Meyer was pulling something out of his hat with their timeout.
