Meh...I'd rather play Michigan every game for the rest of the season than play Auburn or Georgia once.

Oh how the mighty SEC has fallen. We now have Bama fans trying to talk up Auburn -- priceless. :pound:

Is it the Mercer game that has you worried?

It wasn't so much about talking up Auburn...

Facts are facts, nothing about Jimmy Jam's woodchucks scares me. I'd be as worried about playing Michigan as I would be about playing Florida...which is to say not very.

We've had 4 losses in 10 years to teams not in the SEC...Michigan isn't among them, nor are they going to be this year.

I have a feeling all those SEC chest thumpers will have to talk about year's past when discussing conferences, because they know right now they are an absolute train wreck. It is like having two SEC East divisions, except one has Bama.

Not sure why you compare UM to Florida -- in case you missed it, we've played them a few times with 'jimmy jam' as HC. Florida's defense has scored more than their offense. Hell, Florida won the SEC East and then lost to UM 41-7.

Face it -- the SEC is a disaster right now

LOL @ the end of LSU as a national player for the next several years. :rip:

LOL @ USC for being so overrated (again)

LOL @ Minnesota for losing to a Maryland team who was playing their 3rd string QB.

Winning the SEC Least...now there is a major accomplishment...hell, even Michigan might be able to do that.

Lol, let me know when Michigan finishes better than 3rd in their own division and I'll let you know when I'll consider them more than a speed bump to anybody's national championship aspirations.

The SEC is a dumpster fire compared to years past but you are waaaaay over estimating the depth and quality of the B1G.

LOL at those offensive powers Okie Lite and Red Faders for only scoring 75 points together.

Redzone offense is a concern right now. Dumbass mistakes for us were a 20 point swing against Tech (pick 6, 2 missed chipshot field goals). We are unbeatable for 80 yards but become average inside the 20. It's odd because with Washington and Ateman we have two guys who are going to win most battles on a fade and you can't double cover them both. We were dropping bombs early in the season so redzone was less of a concern. Now that we are getting to the meat of our schedule it's something we need to figure out

Where did I mention the B1G that I overestimated anything?

With the way the SEC has dropped, you now have two different SEC Least divisions. One just has Alabama in it.

Good info. Just laugh at all the predictors of all offense turns into less than that...or when they predict a defensive tussle that ends up in a shootout.

Another reason points may have been down is Tech's defense is much improved (still not great but a lot better) but their offense isn't near as good as last year. That is to be expected. Not easy to replace Mahomes.

Keep telling yourself that, it will make it less painful when you get thrashed by somebody not named Florida in a bowl...which you will, because even though you are painful to watch, you will win 10 games because the B1G is the poster child for top heavy conference. You would have thought people would have learned last year when all the top B1G teams lost their bowl game, but apparently not.

Feel free to fill us in on what you'd call the SEC right now, if the B1G is a top heavy conference?

The point is you bash the SEC yet refuse to look into the mirror and see the faults of the B1G. You have this chip on your shoulder because the SEC has been so successful the last 20 years and you desperately want it to end.

The truth is the B1G schedules are bad (and that is pretty much universally accepted by all CFB experts) but you guys will bitch and moan about SEC schedules.

The SEC is too heavy and you guys will bitch and moan about that but the fact is no P5 conference right now is different.

I guess it's a compliment that all you guys hold the SEC to a higher standard then you do anyone that else but at least realize that is what you are doing.

It really wasn't a defensive struggle. We just couldn't finish drives. Tech did try and slow the game down though, which seemed odd. They got into a decent rhythm in the second half whe we got up and they needed to score quickly.

Thank goodness for bye weeks.

It's actually not a truth nor is it universally accepted. The B1G routinely schedules major OOC games. Please provide quotes or information from these "experts" that "universally accept" your load of bullshit.

To be fair, michigan did just massacre Florida a few weeks ago, so they're obviously several notches ahead.

Can you post some links where the experts have universally said this?

It'd be bashing, if it weren't true. SEC fans ride the coat tails of Alabama and continue to talk about the 'SEC dominance'. Fact is, the SEC is a shell of a conference compared to what they once were. It is Alabama, then somewhere way down the line is, take your choice, because it doesn't matter. As I said earlier, Bama will be favored by a boatload against every team they face in the SEC.

The rest of the SEC should start paying a fee to Alabama for them allowing the conference to ride on their coat tails. When the divvy up the coffers from bowl and television revenue -- Bama should get 75% and 25% should be split between the rest of the conference.
