Yeah, I don't feel good about MNF and am also surprised we are 3.5 favorites...it means that Vegas thinks we will win by 6-7 pts given that they always give the home team 3 points....

I think the thing about the spread is this...of the four possible outcomes:

Pats roll the Chiefs
Pats win close
Chiefs win close
Chiefs roll the Pats

The last one is far far less likely than the first three.

I'm going to say Pats by 10. I think the coaching staff makes a point of emphasis that the Oline keep Brady upright. They do. Maybe not perfectly but enough for Brady and the passing offense to actually work better. The defense continues to be solid even if Charles makes some big runs.

KC has lost to tennessee and Denver. They should lose to Denver.
What do Tennessee and NE have in common? NE #1 passing D and Tennessee #2 passing D....
When KC had to run against Tennessee, they lost.
Only 6 teams have minus in net points KC is one of them.
KC will have to run and NE is rated a respectable 12th against the run
NE is up top on turnover ratio - KC is last and will try to pass against the #1 passing defense?????
KC will get some yards running but when they have to pass on 3rd down, they will be cooked.....

Brady threw another pass into the ground on third down. Chiefs are moving the ball at will and are already up 7-0.

Pats haven't even tried to run. Chiefs are giving up over 4 yards a carry.

Defense looking soooo slow...

End of the first quarter and the Pats have run a grand total of 5 offensive plays. Andy Reid scripts the first 15 plays of his game for the offense and the Chiefs did it well.

On this series the Patriots started well with Ridley going for 6 and then they try to run Vareen and he goes no where. He is not a power back.

Nice pass to LaFell to midfield.
