Yep...RZ was outstanding last week, but like I said...idt they are really 25 pts better than any team yet...(if they played SF next week in PIT again the game would be closer) but 1st home game...after a loss, they were geeked to get that W. Kinda why I think BAL will beat CIN this week...they are the more desperate team.

STL will be keying on Bell...if it were me...hit the short passing game early (including Bell) and work backwards to the run. IDK what Donald plays...2, 3, or 4 technique from their even front 4...either way...Wallace and DeCastro have to play their best game of the year. Beach backs down to no one so I'm very interested to see the Quinn matchup.
BAL beating CIN? Bold prediction considering that team appears to be in decline. I thought they would be a better team so I guess I can see your point. Losing Suggs was a big hit to that D, but they will recover. Their offense is the bigger question mark. They thought the O-line would have improved off last year but looks like they got worse. Flacco doesn't have many great targets outside of Smith Sr. Gilmore is a work in progress with high upside. Haven't even seen Perriman yet.

Pretty sure he plays 2 technique but I'm not exactly sure. I'm worried about Beach with Quinn. He struggles with the faster, more agile, edge rushers. Wallace will need to help Foster more than DeCastro in my opinion. But we shall see.

What would really be nice is if they both lost, but that probably can't happen.

BAL...no Suggs presence hurts, because even at his age you still have to game plan for him...he's been in decline imo anyway...still solid, but no longer T-Sizzle...IDK what happened in OAK, but they still have a lot of good players on DEF...the OFC really needs to step up but they're counting on a rookie WR, a rookie TE, not sure how long Pitta is out...getting swept LY by CIN is added ammunition and they typically are strong at home...I expect them get after Dalton and get a turnover...AJ is nicked (again).

STL...if Donald does play 2 tech, wouldn't that put him in between Wallace and DeCastro? (strange he hasn't been given a nickname yet, maybe we just don't know it). If DeCastro can handle Donald 1 on 1, (I'm leery of that), Wallace can slide left to Brockers, and free up Foster to help Beach if needed...Beach wants top 10 LT money...this is an opportunity to earn it...Haley has to run that power play at Quinn at little don't you think?...make him tackle a RB to knock some of that edge off his pass rush.

BAL... Pitta in on PUP list. But I've been hearing from @Tgann69 that he most likely won't ever make it back to full recovery. Tgann has been hyping up Gillmore as a sure-handed beast, and the one to permanently fill the TE role until the rookie Williams is up to speed. I'm curious as to why they kept Pitta around if that were truly the case. THe OAK game was a classic case of being "caught with your pants down". It looked like neither side of the ball gameplanned for them. Almost like they went into the game with a schoolyard style "anything goes" scheme. But traveling cross country really had to hurt. Schedule was against them.

STL... From what I've seen they always have Donald to the center's right. So yea, between Wallace & DeCastro. Donald is very explosive so I'm sure Wallace will need to throw in a jab to help stifle before returning to help Foster. But I'd be worried about Laurinitis or Ogletree shooting gaps as well. Their D-line opens up a lot for their LBers. Hopefully Ben has a quicker passing attack this week.

B-t-b west coast games so they stayed out there...this crops up again this season for them so it'll be interesting to see if they come back east inbetween this time...Gilmore is not a bad young TE...Tgann may be right...but Pitta was Flacco's security blanket...this kid has 10 targets in two games and Sr. Smith has about 40...lol...no but 20+ for sure.

Ogletree is Shazier with an extra year or so of experience...not as fast, but he's play maker imo...they are sending him more this year...Laurinitis is kind of average to me...the front 4 makes the LBs a little better I have to think.

This is a good game to really see where Haley truly is as a playcaller...imo he can't go run, run, pass on 3rd down against this DEF and expect to win at their place.

Quick question... What's the deal with Brian Quick? All offseason I heard he was healthy since his injury last season, but he has yet to make it onto the field this season? Is he suffering setbacks, or is he in the Fisher-Dog-House? He was a great playmaker until his injury last year.
I guess he just isn't very good.

Tavon Austin is more dynamic. Kenny Britt is better than him at everything. Stedman Bailey is a 'hands' guy. Chris Givens is supposed to be more of the deep threat. Currently he isn't making the roster due to Marquez being the teams best special teams guy but if he can't beat out Givens then something is wrong. Givens has been mostly MIA since Bradford went down although maybe that just has more to do with who has been playing QB.

I think the Rams have to come in with the mindset that they need to score at least 27-30 points and they need to run the ball more than they did against the Redskins to shorten the game.

Laurinaitis is below average at this point or at the very least a bad fit in the current defense as he is a step too slow and isn't really 'multiple' like a lot of the other players. Ogletree is solid.

Pittsburgh Steelers | Injury Report

No Shazier, or McCullers.

Tomlin typically will not play rookies or young players unless they practice which neither did...hopefully this is a one week thing, but I'm officially worried that Shazier is going to miss games every season...fortunate to have Spence and Williams who will probably split time in his spot.

With no other NT on the roster, I'm curious to see who Butler wants to activate...Walton, or Lyons or ?

Tomlin stuck his foot in his mouth after his presser on Monday. He said Shazier was good to go? Oh well. Glad we have great depth at the position. V-Will has been chompin at the bit to get in there so here's his chance to make an impression.

McCullers... Surprised he is out as well. A little "knee swelling" didn't seem like a big deal at the beginning of the week. My guess is they activate Walton. He's a little more polished than Lyons is, only because he's been with the team longer. Both are young & raw though so it could be a coin flip. I'll keep my fingers crossed that nobody gets injured along the D-line. They would be in serious trouble if that were to happen.

I'm always leery when young guys miss Wed practice about them playing...idk the severity of either but being so early in the season maybe they were held out more as precaution.

I'm curious to see how the Ram OTs hold up in this game...for some reason I think Dupree could go 3 or 3 in the sack dept today and Robinson is a beast but projected best as a RT...have to see if Deebo/JJ can make some noise against him.

CBS is send this game to ATL....so that makes 3 or 3 for me too without going off grid...lol
