You know what I like most??? We are not acting like a bunch of thugs anymore... I HATED that reputation we had, thankfully it's gone now...

That thugery crap started under Linehan and the days of Richie Incognito. With Fisher it was escalated. McVay has brought back the Chuck Knox/Dick Vermeil mental discipline of football and Wade preaches it too. We are growing into a pretty darn good football team and images of the GSOT are starting to emerge!

I always felt like Fisher encouraged that behavior. He seemed to want them to be "feared" more than they're "respected"... We all saw how that worked out in the movie "A Bronx Tale"

I just can't say enough about Goff and the way he has played. Accurate, great arm, smart throws, he's trusting his o-line and looking at his other reads. We might have a QB...

We might have a 3 headed monster with Gurley, Watkins and Goff.

Gurley is back the offense is humming, Goff is looking real good and the D.........needs some work but will be just fine with time. Nice game even though I changed Rams shirts three time in the 4th quarter.:D guess the last one worked.:D

I agree with the assessments of Goff. It is remarkable what McVay, LaFleur, and Olsen have done with this guy and his drastic difference from last year to this year so far reminds me of what Bill Walsh and his offensive staff used to do with college QBs coming into the league. Goff has become his potential and like others, I think we may have a QB for a change!!

The presence of Watkins has made a huge difference in the passing game and we haven't even tapped the potential of the TEs in this offense yet. The young guys like Kupp, Cooper, Reynolds, and others are developing into a powerhouse bunch of weapons that McVay can bring out at any time. With Gurley returning to form, there is no limit to what this offense can become.

Like what goes on in NE all the time, this offensive system may be a Rams staple for years to come especially in light of the numbers we have been amassing dredging up memories of Warner and that explosive offense of the Martz and GSOT years.

I'll go on record stating I was wrong about the trade that brought Watkins here. I am now going to eat an ample serving of crow!! LOL!
