Game Thread: Week 3: Denver Broncos at Green Bay Packers

Tough start to the year with a heart breaking ending against the bears. Now we are on to Green Bay.

I think this will be another tough week for our team. Green Bay's defense appears to be improved and Rogers is always tough.

Rodgers started off great today then the offense really stalled the last three quarters. Unlike previous year the defense has picked up the slack. If this Packer offense plays up to the way they are capable and the D continues to play well this team could be in for a great year. They also look beatable right now. But probably not at home against us!

Ok, so I looked it up. We are 7-6-1 all time VS Packers.

I didn’t say anything about playing well there, which is a good thing. We are 0-5-1 there.

but but but this game is not in Denver sooo we are looking at that 0-5-1 record which every year is a new year but I feel 0-3 is looking likely.

Last time we played GB our D dominated Rodgers but that game was windy and in Denver.

I think this game is winnable but the team can’t wait until the 4th quarter to get into the end zone. Also, can we see some defense doing what we thought this defense would do? It hasn’t been horrible but it has been lacking in the things we thought we’d see out of this unit.

I think the team got jobbed by the refs last week. No, they didn’t play well through much of the game but they played well enough to be ahead 14-13 when the clock read 0:00. That post game FG was all on the refs.

This team has to get better earlier so decisions like that won’t affect them. The refs will make the wrong call if it is left in their hands. The Broncos have got to play like it’s them against the other team and the officiating crew.

I hate complaining about refs but beginning in 2015 it has gotten steadily worse. To the point I’m having a tough time even watching NFL games any more.

@iknowftbll - it is crazy -when you think about it - even with all the errors replay picks up - it seems the referee problems just migrate to some place replay doesn't apply. The opposite of what I would expect as a manager.
