They hype over Seattle since they acquired Percy Harvin has been ridiculous. In the past getting named number 1 to open the season is more or less of a death sentence. Last year, it was Green Bay.

Just goes to show that power rankings don't mean much...

Agree, power rankings are just for fun and giggles. Having said that, Pats are a bit high IMHO, they pulled off a last minute win and the D didn't play bad all things considered, but still several question marks as far as I'm concerned. If week one is the indicator, I would put GB and Texans above the Pats.

One game with the niners coming off by far the most defensive plays they played all season.

Talk about an overreaction.

I think pretty much everyone agrees with #1.

My Top 10:

1.) 49ers
2.) Broncos
3.) Texans
4.) Packers
5.) Seahawks
6.) Falcons
7.) Eagles
8.) Saints
9.) Bears
10.) Colts

Yours?

Eagles? After one game?

1) 49ers
2) Broncos
3) Packers
4) Falcons
5) Bears
6) Saints
7) Texans
8) Seahawks
9) Bengals
10) Ravens

IMO, the NFC is that much better than the AFC aside from the Broncos. Also, I still am not going to sleep on the Ravens. They'll be fine. They won't be a great team, but they'll be right there at the end.

I don't think people realize that the 49ers and Packers played a very sloppy game. A lot of teams would have beaten both of them in Week 1. The 49ers missed 2 ridiculously easy tackles that were broken for touchdowns. They also had 5 pre-play penalties and missed an easy FG. The Packers played so poorly in the secondary that players were wide open. They also had a few bad turnovers.

I think they are both top 10, but that is because of their potential, not because of Week 1.

I guess why they call it the blues, ... Go NFL!
