I'm a summer guy and in no hurry to see it pass. But a good consolation prize is when the best part of the year is over I get to watch Jayden Daniels play football again. It's been a generation since a Washington fan could look forward to the upcomming season and we don't take that lightly.

Ditto for the bears. I haven’t been more ready for a season to start since Brian Urlacher’s prime. The Madden curse is smiling on the redskins this year.

Looking back, I really like your team's top 3 picks - all D. They should make a difference this season and those to follow.

I really liked how our draft this year, we needed a boost on D and Walker, Pearce and Watts should provide that. I think Watts was a steal in the 3rd round, and I liked trading up for Pearce, he should be a strong edge rusher, and I was surprised Walker fell to us at 15 and was glad we took him. Edge rush, by far our biggest issue the last few years, should be much better with Pearce and Walker, plus the addition of Floyd in free agency and hopefully Ebiketie takes another step forward. Corner is still kind of a concern, Terrell is good but I find Hughes/Alford/Phillips to be rather shaky. But overall our D should be a much improved unit.

We should definitely have a winning record and be a playoff contending team this season, no excuse for us not to be. I think Penix will be stellar for us and we have a strong O around him, and the D is in much better shape. I think we are the favorites to win the South.

I'll say it again. It's good for the league when the Chicago Bears are good. Another great young QB will be a lot of fun to watch. He's all set for success this season.
