Are we shitting on a rookie QB on the road with a poor OL, a run game for 2.2 yards per carry making his 2nd career start? Trying to catch up on the game thread.

I don't get it. Everyone on here acting like they are new to football. Rookie QB's tend to struggle especially with a poor OL and run game. Same silly debate I had about Bo Nix earlier

Oh checkdown Nix is next level horrible... lot of people saw that coming a MILE away and a lot of smarter analysts figured he was a 2nd round pick at BEST and somehow the Broncos wanted him in the 1st. That was one of the dumbest picks in the 1st round in the draft. Borderline Tebow bad.

I agree, they'll usually look bad for at least 1/2 the season and then they'll either figure it out or have issues that cause them bad habits...so we'll see

He is a Bears QB, his destiny is to suck. Just like Browns QBs. :D

I guess that is why they are wearing the Temu Browns uni’s tonight.

Execute the play guys.. and if they execute the play, they'll get the play... and then that will lead to more plays, which of course play into making scoring plays which will limit the other team from playing when they play them out of the game!!!!

Castoff QBs in the NFC. Obviously too early to mean shit but did anyone see Baker, Geno, Sam and Derek all being 2-0. Woulda been one helluva prop bet, would it not?

Here's the GB Center throwing up on the ball right before snapping it.

Everyone expects this highly-touted rookie QB to come in a play like Stroud. Problem is that NEVER happens. Stroud beasting out his rookie year is like Josh Allen's transformation. You rarely or never see it. Look at most or all of the great QB's, most did not have good rookie season let alone great.

Some of the more recent rookie QB's to perform a high level are guys like Kyler and Baker. Then you have Marino, RGIII, Wilson and Big Ben. Even Luck and Cam had good seasons but a ton of TO's.

Jayden plays on a top 8 bad team. Caleb might have one of the worst OL's, that in itself will lower all expectations, at least at first. I remember Baker in his rookie year have a pretty bad OL and he threw for 3,700 27-14. What Stroud did is borderline impossible.
