Haven't checked all threads yet but any update on Leary ? Also, nervous about Dallas. I do think though that no fly zone will impact Dak thus himself and Elliot will see loaded box and lots of blitzing. Might work. Dallas seems to have improved D so that is certainly a prob. Home field, Sts could be big factor. Need to win field position battle for sure and turnovers.

Really at a disadvantage playing on Monday with concussions because every day is huge as an extra day to pass.

I read where the Texans had EVERY TE on their roster suffer a concussion this week. Fiedorowicz, Griffin and Anderson.

Oh yeah and they play this Thursday.

Yeah DC, saw that. Think I also saw they got 21 players on injury report too ! Even though most aren't serious, that's a boatload to add to the odds concussion guys won't play, your Qb situation is fragile, the Jags pounded you and your 0-1 . Not looking so good for the favs to win the south right now.

Dak Prescott's legs are going to add another dimension to this game for sure. Not only do the Broncos need to limit Zeke but Prescott has very good escape ability. Broncos need to approach this game like they did with Cam Newton IMO but Dallas has better receivers than Carolina.

I noticed the Dallas D did look much improved on Sunday night but I like what I saw from our offense too. Need to continue to get that run game cranked up and maybe our tight ends will be a factor two weeks in a row?! This is where McCoy is supposedly going to really earn his money, as he's been touted as being great at modifying the weekly game plan to specifically exploit the opponent.

Obviously nervous about this game and it's going to be tough. Being played at Mile High is certainly an advantage in our favor but probably a wash since the Broncos just finished their last game about 15 hours ago!

Dallas D did look better, but at the same time with no Odell Beckham and no run game for the Giants their offense is going to really struggle. Odell should be back this week, but just saying. They had it pretty easy week 1.

If memory serves me right, the Dallas D did look much better last half of 2016 until playoff loss. Think they now even have a few key guys suspended but your right, NY Giants were pitiful and even with healthy OB, that O line for Giants is a major prob....again , and I doubt score would have been much different anyway. Going to be interesting matchup for sure. You know if Denve beats Dallas their going to start getting major " brownie " points from media, right ?

Right- I don't think Odell would have swung the result of the game, but when you take him away from the Giants offense they really have nothing, OL struggles, no run game. They have to really rely on Odell to open things for Marshall, Shep and Engram with their passing game to have any chance to win.

The Giants D should be pretty darn good this year though.

Cowboys never really had a bad D last year, always sorta average.

On the injury front for the Broncos guard Ron Leary is now in the concussion protocol. Safety Darian Stewart left Monday night's game with a groin injury -- Stewart said after the game "I'll be fine" and coach Vance Joseph said he believed the injury "wasn't serious." Rookie cornerback Brendan Langley's knee injury will be evaluated with an MRI expected today.

Dallas might be the best overall team we see this year.

Will Dallas double team Miller like SD did? SD double teamed Von on both sides of the LOS which logistically created an advantage for Denver. More DBs to cover a few receivers. Phillip had 59 yards through 3 qtrs. before the turnovers started coming.

Hopefully we have a few younger players to cover Zeke out of the backfield. Zeke on Davis would be like Hunt vs NE ugly.

That last part is maybe my biggest worry of the game. Maybe our biggest issue in game one on defense was some very bad miscommunications that left especially Gordon wide open on a few plays. Then throw in teams continuing to notice when Davis is on the field and trying to isolate him in coverage.

I would hope (but ya never know) that we see more of Corey Nelson in on passing downs this game to spell Todd Davis.

We need a complete LB at that LB spot though in the future.

I think we need to do a better job at getting Nelson and Davis on the field in the right situations.

Davis is purely a run supporting LB.

You don't usually have Safeties playing in coverage against RB's. They are usually more the deep help or man coverage against a TE/Slot WR if you have that type of Safety/CB hybrid player. Simmons did his job of shutting down the TE's from doing anything against the Broncos. Until the 4th quarter I had forgotten that Gates and Henry were even playing in the game.

Yeah don't put Simmons on a RB. Wouldn't make sense. He needs to be back there reading and reacting.

Gates/Henry had what? 1 catch? 1 target?

Henry 0 catches... It was nice to see the TE's be a non factor. I was thinking in the second half how good of a job we were doing for a team with two very good TE's


Booker is back at practice today. Won't play this week but back to practice is encouraging. Likely to play week 3.
