This will be the Divisional game weekend at Lambeau Field in the cold. Temps are supposed to be the low 30's and that doesn't bode well for us. Many pundits don't give us much of a chance in the cold because we have a terrible history of losses playing playoff games in the cold dating back to all those losses to the Vikings in the 70's. We are also not a healthy team either. With Goff, Kupp, AD, Edwards and Whitworth with injuries, those sorts of things don't respond well to lots of cold. So presently, everyone is taking Green Bay for the win.
One advantage is McVay knows the Green Bay offense that is ole buddy Matt LaFleur runs so Staley should have a field day. We can beat these guys, but we are going to have to play like we did in Seattle. Also, McVay has a tendency to go soft when he is coaching against his friends like for say what happens when he faces Kyle Shanihan. If we get behind early, will probably lose but this would be the perfect game to outcoach his mentee by switching to the Jumbo and run it down their throats. Our D, especially Ramsey covering Devontae Adams could really slow Rodgers down enough for us to get an advantage.
We shall see how things go. Should be fun to see how we come out.
