8-9 v. potentially 9-8????? Sorry, life has been a bitch lately so I am fairly pessimistic........... and sometimes this board is just too much roses and sunshine when some criticism and pointing out areas of need are ok. But overall, yes I agree the the team is way better than last year overall and that is a large leap and 10-7 plus playoffs would be a Huge Leap!

I wouldn't even say WAAAY better. For me the defense appears to be fools gold. VJ decided he is simply going to be VERY AGGRESSIVE. Meaning he is loving to blitz. Lesser QBs can't really handle it and it is neat to watch the pressure. However, the better QBs and offensive coordinators have seemingly adjusted to it. This is why we have seen Lamar Jackson, Justin Herbert, Burrow and even Jameis Winston light this defense up. Many wide open receivers. Thats why many pro coaches don't like blitzing all that much. Right now the better QBs and better OCs are playing VJ like a 3 dollar banjo

Reid and Spags will have their team ready to go and playing well even with backups. If the Broncos don't jump on them early I worry about this team tightening up and blowing a close one so if Broncos are to win it needs to be going away. @DC says I need to be more positive so I will go with 30-21 Broncos (3 TD's 3FG) with the score closer than the actual game. Lets get this young team a playoff experience which would be so beneficial for the next year.

Would love this. A drama free game that sets the tone immediately and leaves no doubt. I doubt we get it. I think we’ll win, but a closer, 24-16 type game.

As much as I love ya, Mingo - I just can’t be THAT optimistic. I see it more like 24-17. Nothing comes easy, it doesn’t seem in life or in growth of football teams. But on to the playoffs with any W!
