Sorry I’m trying to find a reason to be positive but after what we witnessed these past 2 weeks I don’t have confidence in this team.

If we lose next week 9-8 is a hell of a record for a rebuilding year, but it stings a little when that record was 9-5

Sorta how I see it. Then you realize it is Kansas City and everything goes their way. They will win with Wentz. The Bengals will win and Joe Burrow will get hurt kneeling the ball on the last play of the game.

Chiefs rest players or don't, I don't consider this game a sure thing. But the Chiefs went at the Broncos full bore and need a major assist from the refs and a freakishly unfortunate blocked kick to hold on for that win. So I'm not counting us out either. I just hope the Broncos are up 35-0 at halftime and don't make it dramatic.

It’s a decision coaches make every season. Play and risk injury or sit and risk rust. I think Reed is more old school and these teams hate each other so I wouldn’t be surprised to see full KC squad out there if it means knocking Denver out of the playoffs.

That’s a loaded question. It depends on what you consider good. He’s good at getting them over .500, he’s terrible in the playoffs so it depends on if you judge a coaches success by regular season or playoffs.

Our luck KC will rest starters and of offense will have a bad day and lose 13-10 on a last second FG.

If that is the case we don’t deserve the playoffs.
I do think this team is very deserving of the playoffs this year, however.

He has a long standing habit of resting guys in this situation. He did it both times they secured first seed with Alex Smith, and again in 20 and 23 with Mahomes. He'll rest Travis, Mahomes, Chris Jones, etc. Jay Glazer said as much this morning.

That said, I can see playing starters if it meant killing a rivals playoff hopes. If I were him that aspect of it might be worth playing a half, or a few starters at certain spots.

I think the Chiefs would rather see the Broncos in the playoffs then the Bengals. So there is that too. of course they could also wanna see the Dolphins over both the Broncos and Bengals so there is that too. Either way Chiefs would be smart to not risk injury and worry about themselves more then anything. I was thinking maybe a quarter for starters just to not have them off 2 straights weeks.
