Seahawks in 2010 made it at 7-9 and hosted one of the all time great wild card games.

There were almost 2 of them.. with the ACF South. The only reasonable solution is to reduce the number of divisions. There's no need for 8 divisions. But if they're going to stick with 8, then winning the division should mean something

I'm all for going back to six divisions...which would require realignment. I'm all for realignment as well...am I ever. So much so that I think some people hate my guts on this board. Nevertheless...
