I also have a brother whose b'day is Jan 1st and a sister falls on Thanksgiving about every 3 years or so.
a bit of a funny story...my wife is a NICU NNP and started out in L&D, so she is quite familiar with what happens with pregnant women. when she was prego with our twins, she started having contractions on July 4th, but because she knew what would happen being at 34 weeks (full term for twins), she refused to go to the hospital until 10 PM on the 5th (kids were born about 2 hours after midnight on the 6th). so I always tell people I did my part to uphold the family tradition, but the wife refused to cooperate.
