Possibly. The real number is the guaranteed portion. I would consider signing him for a 3 year deal in the 8-10M average range with 17-20M guaranteed and the 3rd year voidable. That's in line with the likes of tavon Austin, Cobb, and Hurns. He is as productive to us as those guys are to their teams.

But those guys you mentioned are younger. Jackson is not durable. You want to guarantee him that kind of money?

That's what I said. And due to his age, that is why I really only sign him for a couple of years. But his value to this team is huge and is not easily replaced. He is more than a speedster. Garson is also valuable to this team. We can sign both. BTW, Garcon is older than DJax yet you have no issue with signing him.

He will not be much cheaper. He makes more than DJax today, at $8.5M/year. DO you think he will take less than that?

we are turning this into an either or situation with Garcon & Jackson

hopefully we can retain both at the right price

they both fill needs that are unique ...

one guy has the speed that kills ... while one is physical and is willing to make those smash mouth receptions.
