I am fine with DMont being a GL or short yardage back but Gibbs should be the main back. Similar to what we all thought Kamara-Jamal Williams could be without injuries this season.

5.2 vs 4.9 yards per attempt. Gibbs is undeniably more talented and has bigger breakout potential, but he also is not following his blocks right yet. Autin Ekeler did a break down on it earlier. Both have value and have been awesome so far this year. You are right Gibbs is better, wrong that Montgomery is garbage.

I get your point but technically he got 3 steps in so at that point it’s a TD. Then you add in the knee down. That is enough imo

I don't even think he is quietly very good. He has had elite break tackle rate his entire career, it was just mostly spent behind a bad oline. Now that he has a good line he is the same player, but it shows up. I loved that signing, I never cared that they let Jamaal Williams walk.

I had Montgomery as a RB in a keeper league in the off-season.

Thought I had absolutely struck gold in the off-season when he signed with the Lions. Until draft day that is. But yeah he is a good football player. Not surprising that Campbell likes him.
