Game Thread: Week 11 SNF: Packers @ Redskins

Loved the 4th and short call last night. I know many of you will disagree with me, but until this team has a consistent (above average) defense, more decisions like this need to be made in situations where the odds are in our favor. In order for this team to WIN games vs. punting and playing NOT to lose games, this sissy attitude needs get thrown in the trash. Good teams line up against you in some of those situations and dare you to stop them.

Plays like this are psychological. After getting the 1st down did you guys see what happened... We put our foot on their throat and imposed our will on them. The game was pretty well won on that gain of less than a yard.

Honestly it was the only call given how the game had transpired until that pt. Even if that fall it likely meant that the Packers would drive 57 yds for the TD instead of 80 or 90. That is how poorly the Redskins D was playing at that time. They somewhat made it for it later in the game.

if i get the runs this weekend im giving up .. at work today there was a huge debate Redskins are for real or greenbay sucks i kind of stayed out of it and said i just want them cowboys anyways i think im going to ku vs kansas state to see coach synder win his 200th victory 11am fs1 saturday EMAW

Considering that Aaron Rodgers seemed to got up and down the field on us, I don't blame coach Gruden for that call because I believe had we punted to them and Rodgers got the ball back, he'd have gone up and down the field, again. Gutsy call, but I loved it a lot better than those 2-point tries. Of course, Hopkins missed that XP.
