Can kind of believe that the outcome could happen because Lance is unproven (which was my WHOLE point in the offseason in comparing the AFC West to the NFC West - Rams have maybe a year left, 49ers are unknown, Cards lost their D and the midget is untrustworthy).

But yah, wow. I thought the 49ers would flat shutout the Bears, which they did for a half.... I mean on the road week 1 is always tough (I remember Seattle's 05 SBOWL team lost week 1 on the road to Jacksonville in terrible fashion). I also didn't realize Kittle was out which would've helped for sure.

We'll see how the Cards do but decent chance the whole division starts 0-1 lol. Would be a Twilight Zone if Seattle wins and leads the division after tomorrow LOL.

So does Kelce.... I know they'll miss Hill, but Kelce is such a matchup nightmare... There are a lot of talented wide receivers in the NFL and pouring out of College all the time. Tight end is a different matter... and with Reid heavily leaning on a tight end (always was him and Holmgren's thing) it just makes the offense borderline unstoppable.

That was the one reason I feel Holmgren never could get the SBOWL with Seattle. They never found THAT tight end. Jerramy Stevens was CLOSE, but just too big a case of the drops.
