A little worried about this game. I'm not gonna lie.

If you watch the Youtube vids of seasons 1999 and 2001, having Fletcher on the D was paramount to the Rams going to both Snooperbowls. He was a colossal stud in the middle. He was a squat-heavy, short stubby dominant LB and the Rams should have never let him walk. The Rams' defense in 2002 and beyond was horrible especially against the run from tackle to tackle. Dumbass greedy Queen Bitch and that complete idiot John Shaw totally destroyed our D with their complete and utter stupidity!!

He had 119 tackles in 16 games his final year as a Ram. He was considerably better elsewhere thereafter. Defense under Mad Mike did not remain a strong suit.

Not among the starters really, other than the perceived deficiency at LB. I guess we'll see if they fit whatever scheme the new DC rolls out, I'm sure a lot of that was kept under wraps during the preseason.

It's a tough one to start with, repeating their playoff loss (that probably shouldn't have been one really). How much will the loss of AD impact the defense? At least they focused on the d line heavily in the draft.

More of the complete bullshit of signing and wasting money on injured FAs when they could have had a couple of All-Pros FAs for far less at both positions who are better players than what they got!!!!

Perhaps the move of Jonah Jackson to Center may be an over-reaction of sorts. Apparently he has more experience at Center dating back to when both Jackson and Stafford were players in Detroit than the pundits stated in their articles. Perhaps, a bunch of bored summer pundits needed some drama. So, it might be possible that our O-line will be fine, but we shall see.
