Surprised it took this long to get an LOL at us... I mean we have almost half the yards Iowa did and scored 35 vs iowas 38 a little over half of Iowas 1st downs 10 minutes less than Iowa....

Iowa didnt impress either our defense and special teams outscored our offense... worthy of another team laughing at us (i however have been facepalming)

I agree. Both teams definitely underachieved. I saw Iowa's game today. They were terrible first half. I wasn't trying so much to LOL Nebraska and how they played when Iowa didn't do any better, but I wanted to LOL the whole Blackshirt thing.

I am also one that respects good traditions and actually hate it when programs use them too much or misuse them. I actually have a ton of respect for the Blackshirts tradition. I don't see Osborne allowing these guys to get a look at a Blackshirt, let alone give them one.

I actually agree here. I am by far more critical about the defense than I am about the offense and no one deserves blackshirts in my opinion. Cam Taylor was really good yesterday, but I want to see consistency before awarding something that I think is an awesome (and used to actually mean something) tradition.

Holy shit I wasn't around for start of season here last year - this thread is the tits.

This was almost as cringey as Mack Brown kneeling in Victory formation before time actually ran out - shit-show Week 1 for sure.

Iowa State is a trending upward program, much better future than all those pathetic directional schools down south who y’all beat up on to pad stats and records. Northern Iowa, S. Dakota St, S. Dakota(OU finally scheduled them), and N. Dakota State are by far some of the best FCS programs and a hell of a lot better than the bull shit that’s been popping up in FBS down south. Also Wyoming beat Missouri (who is really big 12, not Southeastern). Wyoming is the most geographically isolated FBS program apart from Hawaii. And they beat the shit out one of the SEC’s contenders.

Missouri is not an SEC contender. They literally are unable to win the title this year.
