It's a trap for LSU money IMO. The line should be, in my head, closer to at least 7.5 in LSU's favor. Vegas ain't dumb. UCLA doesn't have a ton of rando fans to push money into it.

I think some folks think UCLA is good.

LSU was kind of shitty last year after winning the Natty. They had some bad losses (48-11 to Auburn who fired their coach at the end of the season).

UCLA has a game under their belt, and are obviously at home. The ol' Chipster is due for a good season in Hollywood.

Yeah, LSU lost an NFL franchise QB and a bunch of other guys (including their OC who the Panthers hired), and their play fell off a cliff. But they did have COVID problems all year, and their recruiting rankings are:
2018: #14
2019 : #3
2020: #4
2021: #4

They're still loaded, and they're always physical on the OL, with an NFL-calibre RB. I think they'll cover easily. Btw, UCLA:
