Browns have some solid pieces on DEF, but still lacking in some areas...we'll have to see how the DTs and LBs play and they are young on the backend...is TJ Carrie their CB1? The key will be blocking the edge boys... and getting some heat on Taylor....I do think it will be fairly close unless CLE has a few turnovers, but that's not Taylor's MO.

According to their depth chart they released this week its Terrance Mitchell & Denzel Ward as their starting outside duo.

I think all of them get tested in this game...maybe no Washington? Hunter may be the WR3 in this game? I'd love to see Ben ge tthe OFC clicking, but with so few snaps in real games, I'm cautious I guess.

Finally get to see a real NFL game tonight...no Wentz, but this could be a pretty good one.

Supposedly he practiced this week...there are some making this out to be Edmunds is taking over the job, but I'm not in that camp...yet.

My thinking as well. Taylor is a decent QB, and if he finds a good rhythm with his team early then they'll be a good team. But gut feeling tells me the team will struggle, and with the pressure on the coaches & FO they will press Mayfield into action sooner rather than later.

Taylor is basically a less heralded Alex Smith...you can win games with him, but he's not going to put the fear of God into anybody.

When does Baker take over? IDK if it's week 8 or not...if they do indeed lose week 1, there's a good chance they start 0-2 facing NO on the road. Then back home for the Jets before going out to OAK (I counted OAK as a loss earlier)...they could be 2-2 going home for 2 straight.

Baker is definitely going to play this season, but he might not be the FT starter by week 8.

Some word out there stating that Burnett was nicked (but not seriously) and they wanted to give him another week...was that a nice way of saying you've been demoted?

I'm giving that another week. If Edmunds is starting again next week...I think we can make that call.

You're right, I forgot who your OC is for a second. 45-15 is probably closer to the actual score with Cleveland kicking 5 field goals. Unless your kicker sucks then it will be 45-6.

The NFL is punishing the Browns by making them start the season against the Steelers. I think the game will be ugly.

Hearing that the weather in Cleveland is going to be nasty. 20-40mph winds and torrential downpours.

Going to be putting a lot more pressure on the trench guys in this game! I think the Steelers have the clear edge in that category, but it’s going to be a dog fight!

The weather is going to be nasty. Going to have to run the ball. Wish we could bring THE BUS in his prime, in for this game. He always ran well in bad weather.

Going to be a very interesting season for this team and head coach. Hopefully, they come through on the expectations. The window is only open for so long.
