Made it to the playoffs and lasted 4 games

Largest margain of victory was 2, it was a great series.

Kershaw had a no hitter through 4 on short rest, nothing to feel bad about besides the bullpen and some of the impatient offense.

Moral victory. When you have the highest payroll your one goal is to win it all. The Dodgers failed

Again with the payroll shit. LA was the only team in the top 5 of payroll to win a playoff game, and the only one in the top 4 to even make the playoffs. Sorry man, everyone's goal is to win it all. Not doing so doesn't equate to failure. Had LA not made the playoffs, then yes, I could buy that. But back to back West titles is a great mark moving forward.

Again, how about those Yanks who were #2 in payroll for the last two years and didn't even make it to October? That's far more a failure to me. Projecting?

Please don't confuse me as a Dodger fan, but is a Yankee fan REALLY attacking the Dodgers for their skyrocketing payroll?

If Kershaw had to pitch against the Cards 20 times in a season he would never get the Cy-Young award.

Hoping Kershaw finally pitches big in the post season this year.

His current playoffs numbers are rather disturbing: 1-5 with an ERA over 5 in his 11 post season games (8 starts)

there's no predictive value in postseason performance. Remember when people thought Lester would dominate the Royals? Barry Bonds sure did suck it up in the 2002 postseason.

also, Mattingly let Kershaw out to dry several times.

People act like Kershaw didn't slice and dice the Braves in ATL in Game 1 of the NLDS two years ago.

Kershaw fans 12 as Dodgers drub Braves

Sure he hasn't pitched to his dominant potential, but it's not like he's never thrown a good playoff game before.

He had his good starts every once in a blue but an era over 5 in 11 playoffs games tells me more than hisoccasional good start
