He was good for a while if not great

Still did not log a win and is on the hook for a loss without getting past 6 innings

Much better but still nowhere close to his regular season success

On short rest it was a great performance. I'm still confused as to why Puig wasn't starting.

7 straight strikeouts in the playoffs is unheard of. He looked like a 10 year old at the plate

Your fascination with small sample sizes is disturbing BK, how'd that work out when you said the Spurs sucked? You'd think a person would learn lol.

In baseball that's all you have to go by. It is a short series. He was in a win or go home situation and with the way Puig has been struggling, he liked his chances with Ethier more.

If this was a best of 7 knowing all you need to do is win of the next 2 in St. Louis to get back to LA for 6 & 7, he probably starts Puig

you are right Jay. 3 game series. you gave to break through. Puig didn't. he sucked

1 bad pitch by Kershaw. tough break. by why o why didn't Puig get a chance to hit in the 9th. He is the type of player to battle tough and maybe be clutch.

Puig also fabricated the only Dodger run in Game 3 out of thin air. The Dodgers could have used some of that fabrication tonight. Ethier isn't a bad player, he's actually one of the clutcher players in Dodgers history but he could have been saved for a late inning pinch hit situation. Gordon was not doing much and benefitted from Puig's middle of the order power behind him.

Puig is also a few steps faster than Kemp on defense and has one of the better arms in the league, taking him out of a pivotal game after starting him the entire year and the series, was a head scratcher to me. Mattingly had 0 confidence in his guys, bullpen or otherwise.

Give some credit to Molina too, he's the MVP of that team. Matheny is a great manager as well.

Dude is 1-5 in the playoffs and loses the final game again.

Kershaw fizzles against a 7.5 batter lineup under real pressure.

Just imagine what would happen facing 9 MLB hitters in a couple of world series starts.

Enough gushing from MLB media "experts" about Kershaw, please.

It's all about his release points, right? I bet there is a correlation between average against him and number of times they've seen him.

Grienke kinda owns the cards and Kershaw gets owned by the cards. The coach has to know this at this point
