We have problems.....

-Our Offense can't move the ball worth a shit on a decent/good defense. (okie lites D is a joke)
-Niles Paul is playing well this week, but he still sucks/overrated.
-We fumble way to fucking much, and honestly what the hell is going on? Coaches? Does anyone get irritated watching brandon kinnie handle the ball? Or watching Niles Paul return or catch/carry? Or Martinez lower his shoulder to take a hit?
-We need to be WAY more consistant with our offensive line.
-Our Defense is soft
-Our Front 4 sucks (we never get pressure on the QB, NEVER, and we get blown off the fucking line on running plays)
-Crick isn't even a 1/4th of what Suh was
-Our Secondary is good, however they aren't looking sharp today because we can't get pressure on the QB
-WE CANT TACKLE!!!!!


I think i can't stress the last complaint anymore... Im really fucking tired of watching us bounce off tackles and not wrap up.

The tackling is so piss poor that it gives me nightmares thinking back to the he who shall not be named days........though we were much worse tackling back then.

The LBs are missing gaps HORRIBLY in this game too.

On top of all this, the DLine basically is doing nothing at all. If you can't get a pass rush with your DLine, you at least need them to clog up the running lanes........which is exactly what our gameplan is. But guess what, we haven't clogged any running lanes today.

I look at it this way:

This year's team is a legit top 10 team, and we are probably as bad a we will be for... a LOT of years. I have a hard time believing these holes we currently have will be there in the future. We are far from a complete football team, and we're STILL looking at a top 5 ranking at the end of the season and a BCS bowl victory. Things have been worse, fellas

They said on ESPNU earlier today that you still can't completely count Nebraska out to make a run for the National Title this year. If Nebraska wins out and gets an impressive win in the Big 12 Championship game they will get their chance.

All that needs to happen are a few undefeated teams need to lose, and also they said even if Boise has ONE close game from here on out, that will knock them out of it.

Oklahoma St has some real good players @ skill positions on offense. Their QB is a 27 y/o Jr with an NFL arm (Martinez out-passed him), Justin Blackmon has better stats than Crabtree (TT) and Dez Bryant (Amukamara had his hands full), Kendall Hunter leads the league in rushing.
NU's defense had a lot of assignments and once again adjustments were made at half to hold Ok St to 7 pts a Q in the second half. Suh was a huge impact player and the D has taken a step back without him, but I think they're still good. As has been said by others, I don't think the NU defense will be tested like that rest of the regular season.

Are the struggles (on offense) a home thing or coincidentally an every other game thing? Could NU's offense be playing a good game one week, then have their heads on cloud nine in practice the next? Let's hope they keep their heads in practice this week. They're gonna need to score some points.
