Unfortunately, that's the game plan for every team we'll face for the rest of the year. Remember when I told you that game 9 would mark the peak of his learning curve? Looks like it's come a bit earlier than I thought.

Gary Beban......1967 had all of the credentials coming out but drafted to a team full of untrained bad news bears type players.

Sorry Shark, memory failing me, Beban was drafted by the Rams in the second round, couldn't come to terms and was dealt to Washington his rookie year for their number one for the following year. So in essence they did spend their number one on him just in a round about way.

Sty.. .the fact that you had to reach back almost 50 years and still couldnt come up with some one says alot. We have made mistakes on the last five 1st round QBs we have taken. We made a HUGE mistake on the last one we took. And nothing points to us NOT screwing it up again the next go round. The only positive here is that the more the team sucks, the more likely you will get to smile when they eventually change the name. Of course I think that also comes with the team moving to another local.

Or maybe we draft a good QB, Mcgloughan continues to add to the roster in FA and later parts of the draft and we're a borderline playoff team by next year.

Paxton Lynch, 6'7", 245 pound ands QBs Memphis. He has all the physical tools in abundance imo and he's accurate. He can move his big ass pretty well, scramble, run, and not for a guy who's 6'7" just move pretty well with no qualifiers.

Cal's Jared Goff could be a keeper as well. He had a terrible game INT-wise, threw 5, against Utah last game, but he's smart, learns from his mistakes, plays in a legitimate pro style offense and has shown noticeable improvement every year as Cal's 3 year starter. He doesn't have a cannon for an arm and is more a timing passer. In the right system he could turn into a legit QB. Jay Gruden's system isn't the right system

Whats 3 more years?? We been rebuilding since 1995 at this point.

Not true. Plenty of coaches have had success in year 1. Dont forget it would be a Mcgloughan coach so Mcglouhan would continue to add his players. On top of that this team has decent talent. LB, CB, DL, OL, RB, WR, TE all have some talent. Not gonna win the super bowl but I think it all comes down to who's playing QB for us.
