It's a dead giveaway that we are taking Mohammed Sanu. I heard that Pete Brown accidently called him during the first round and told him that he was the Bengal's selection. Then Mike Brown could be heard in the background saying "hang up the damn phone, hang up the damn phone, he's our second round selection not our first you idiot"
Pete then started making staticy blowing sounds and said "wrong number" and hung up. You can read below.

I'm not bullish on the Kirkpatrick pick because of his speed/side combination, but Haden's become a very good AFCN corner with similar combine numbers.. plus the Bengals desperatley needed a corner and it was universally agreed he was the best on the board at that position.. I can't complain too much..

otherwise they drafted quality interior linemen, and added a guy who has a chance of starting as a rookie at WR in the middle of the third rd...

can't get over that pick... 115 catches as a Jr. in a pro style offense (that's the key) with sub par QB play..

I was hoping he'd become a Bengal all college season last yr.
