The Spurs are so isanely injured with Ginobili and Diaw completely gone... and Parker at maybe 50% if we are lucky.

If healthy, the Spurs would win in 5 games. But, they are very vunerable right now.

I dont think the Lakers can still win (maybe), but they will wear down Timmy so much that the Spurs season wont be a long one.

I was hoping Timmy would get a relatively easy first round series with the midgets from Houston or Golden State. Nope, he has to bang with the Twin Towers.

The Spurs only chance for 5 titles is a fresh Duncan. This series insures it will not happen.

It should make for an interesting series. If Parker and Ginobili are healthy at all, the Spurs win, even if Nash is back. If they aren't, then I think the Lakers win because of their advantage in the paint.

Is Manu definitely out? The homer in me gives the Lakers a chance against a healthy Spurs team. I think they have a really good chance if Manu is out and Parker is still hobbled. The Lakers struggled defending perimeter players who can get to the hole. Manu and Parker fit that description.

just imagine if the Spurs played in a large market they'd be a hit....must suck in some way to have to kind of fly under the radar in so many ways from ratings, to popularity, to jersey sales, etc. But they've had a winning tradition for a long time and can't hate on that. All of that is due to Pop and management, classy bunch along with most of their players over the years starting with "deer in the headlights" Duncan.

I know I might sound corny, but you guys seem like family to me. We are like a big disfunctional family. We argue and fight, but when all got the boot from cbs, we stood together and made sure we find another site(this great site) so we can continue to debate with each other. Im not going to lie, when I seen that cbs got rid of the boards, I told myself I was going to miss everyone because i've been dealing with some of yall for almost 7 years. The only person I dont like, is wildcatsfan, so I can care less about him but lets get the rest of the guys over here.

That is why in the thread I started - The Lakers can make it to the Western Conference Finals - I think hard work and focus makes it a series for the Lakers to beat against the Spurs. The Lakers have always owned Denver in the playoffs and I still say they are over-rated. They did a good job capitalizing on their advantages, but I think the Lakers can beat them

To be honest - I was fed up with the cbs message boards anyway and am glad they are gone for good. The trolling was way out of control, and I had to call out the cbs mods several times for favoritism. I was accepting the trolling and the personal attacks, then then when I got warned for retaliating I went ballistic. The cbs guy was a Heat prick and was protecting them. There is just no way in hell that heatmyshorts got away with all of that crap any other way. I was in here a few years ago, but there wasn't enough traffic, even though it was more fun in here, so I say screw cbs and good riddence
