He texted to Sharks reporters that he's fonna play, but I bet you he's done for this series whether it's 1 more game or 3 more games. Even if he plays, he'll be severely limited to the point where he shouldn't play.

I bet that's what happens. Joe's a gamer so he's gonna want to lace up the skates, but he won't be very effective. Just my gut feeling. We'll see.

Have not caught up on the thread but Holy SHit are the refs taking over this series the past couple of games. I was gonna post that its sad seeing games degenerate into special teams contests, and despite the Canucks winning today I still feel obligated to post that sentiment.

MARGINAL calls even for the regular season are being called this series. Whatever happened to LET THEM PLAY in the freaking playoffs. Let some stuff go, its the Conference finals FFS.

This game was over after the 1st period. No team can go 0-5 on the powerplay & expect it not to come back to bite them. Of course when you give your opponent three 2 man advantages in less than 2 minutes you're pretty much TOAST.

Do you disagree that Torres is a dirty player? Have you watched his career? Why don't you at least explain why I'm wrong?

Honestly man, whether it was your brother, your brother's friends, some random Canuck's fans, some random hockey fans or anybody for that matter, it was just classless. The guy was attacked from behind and will never be the same even if he does survive. For you to mention that exchange without saying how terrible of thing it is for someone to say is bad. I just think I understand more now why we don't get along/see eye to eye on most things. I'm not going to say anything more on the subject.

Like I said earlier, Canucks battled out a hard fought win on the road. Congrats.

I can say as a Nucks fan that I don't care much for Raffi Torres. His intensity and all is great to have on the team but sometimes he annoys me when he goes way out of his way to run guys. I know the coaches don't want to take away his edge but the charge on Murray at the end of the first was stupidity, not intensity. You can debate all day on whether it was a charge and it doesn't matter. The refs will call that one every time because of the guys attitude and history and it hurts his team even though we killed the penalty. How often do we see the guy go for the hit when one of his teammates already has neutralized the guy and he can get the puck? Instead, he ignores the puck and tries to run a guy. That, to me is dumb hockey. You have to pick your spots when they are there, not go looking for it. What's sad is in game 1 & 2, he was more disciplined and really good so I know he can do it.
