Meh, not his fault the team allowed 3 goals during the ensuing PK. He and the rest of the 4th line won the opening round for us so he gets a pass.

No need to sugarcoat it. We ALL knew the moment that 5 minute penalty was called that the game was over. It was in the air. You could feel it. Bernier got screwed on the call as it should have been a 2 minute boarding but when it was a 5 minute the game and the series and the Cup run was over.

Refs missed similar boarding penalty on Gionta few seconds earlier on the same shift. What would happened if they wouldn't? Refs screwed this game.

That's going to stick to him, but I'm glad Lou kept him. he's been good for us this year, and Carter, Gio, and bernier were one of the biggest reasons we were in the finals.

The Devils should have been on the PP. At the very least, the Devils could have been fighting off a 2 minute disadvantage. But nope, the refs had to find a way to screw the Devils and they did. They fully robbed everyone of what might have been one of the best SCF's turnarounds in NHL history.
