Money talks and BS walks. All he had to do was sit on those patents until Dan made up his mind and sent someone to pay him off.
Yeah, sounds like someone gave him a bag.Money talks and BS walks. All he had to do was sit on those patents until Dan made up his mind and sent someone to pay him off.
Wow! Before that draft. Those draft day hats are gonna be in demand if they get it right.
Before the draft
I hope they they roll it out quickly, rip the cover off, let the public gnashing or acceptance begin as soon as possible, then move on to other football related things.It makes sense the new name will be before April.

@dad, any way to add a tears flooding, Meh, or yippee emoji to the set in anticipation of reaction the new name?![]()
Washington UnitedJason Wright declines to offer up other possible name suggestions or options, but adds that although this may be "disappointing for some folks," "our new identity should unite us."
He goes on: "As a team, we are confident that our new brand identity will honor our legacy and lead us into our future as a franchise.
My response to this;
Of all of the names offered by the public there’s only been one that meets what Jason Wright insists has been the driving force behind this “search.” ("As a team, we are confident that our new brand identity will honor our legacy and lead us into our future as a franchise.”__ JW)
That name is “Warhawks”
In Washington political circles it actually is a name that connects the past with the future. (see: “war” and those who have historically supported it or will in future terms)
It rolls off of the tongue and is a natural fit in the fight song. (Try it now! A few words would have to be replaced but I'll bet you can do it as you sing it, ie; "Brave and on a warpath" would replace "Braves on a warpath"
Uniformly, I don’t think that they are willing to go with the lance, but there are no reasonable arguments against it, especially if it’s redone (upgraded) tactfully. The colors remain the same and perhaps a solid gold helmet. (Gold > that silver shit in Texass)
It’s not dumb like WFT, WFC, or more recent iterations of the type.
Finally, it’s a real football type of moniker, most fans will embrace it immediately and others win or lose will follow in short order as its’ use popularize through media and subconscious advertising. For the diehards who continue to use the former name, win games with this tag and they too, albeit reluctantly, will get on board.
They aren’t interestedI have seen Wright and the videos. I think it is WFT or Redwolves. At this point I hope Redwolves I guess. I know I don't buy that bullshit that the last list of names is what 40,000 people picked. Warriors would have won if they picked the most popular name.
I know and they do not really give a damn what the fans think ... they are just playing the game. I have a feeling they are going to be the WTF to me from here on out.They aren’t interested
