That's good news. I hope its RedWolves. That was 2nd in the fans polling, if they really care about what the fans want.

I'm guessing that ownership will say that RedWolves is too close to Redskins, and hence not a complete break from the old name.

Yeah, I agree. I think Warriors would've been fine, too. I just wonder if they'll want to take Red completely out of the name.

Then why would we be the wolves? The redskins were native to MD…That is where we got the names Chincotesgue, Assateague, Naticoke, etc.

The only reason is because I had a crazy ass dream last week that I was in the mall shopping and picked up a black t-shirt that had WOLVES written across the chest in deep burgundy letters.

Allows me to keep calling them the Skins. Pays slight homage to the Hogs. Not sure if this has been run up the flagpole already? With the stripes down the middle. Not Redskins, but something I could stomach.

Razorbacks or boars…sure. I get it. They sound bad ass. If we were the Boars, it is a homophone, so if we had a really yawner of an outing, we would be the Bores.
