  Blanton started in the Super Bowl in February, and nearly seven months later is looking to settle as solid depth on the Commanders. With Logan Thomas still on PUP and three rookies on the current depth chart, two of whom weren't drafted, it seems plausible that Blanton can make the Commanders 53-man roster.

King was a baller a few years ago, but has seemed to fell off the last 2 seasons. Don't know a lot about Johnson, but the Skins need to get the fuck off this idea that Holcomb and Davis are the cure for their ailing LB woes. Hell, even if they were, the depth behind them has way more questions than answers. Because of that alone I'd take a serious look at Johnson.

Why is AJ Johnson still available? That doesn't make any sense to me. Rivera needs to swallow his pride and admit he has NOT adequately addressed the LB position.

We have the worst LB core in the NFL Holcomb is more of a rotational guy and Davis is looking like a bust

Surely his agent is telling him that it is better to play with a smaller contract than to not play at all.

Who knows. At this point, I think we will sign a young LB to the PS and roll with what we have. I believe the approach to addressing the LB corps has been irresponsible.
