Patterson wouldn't come here. Want to see our recruiting go to zilch? Start running Johnson's offense. You don't get to the pros by running the option, and that's what it's about anymore.

I'm not buying it. By the way, are you watching GT play FSU tonight?

Oh well, I'm hoping Riley ends up being the right hire, time will tell. GBR

Have you seen FSU play all year? They've done it over and over. Got to be the ugliest winners I've ever seen.

I am....and I am thoroughly enjoying watching the option work. The problem is, you can't get good recruits to come run it, and you can't run it consistently enough to win it all. Someone shuts them down every year, and they play in the ACC that, outside of the top teams, isn't very good.

They've had the ball roll their way quite a few times also. A good example of that is in one of their games a receiver dropped a pass and another FSU player caught it for a long gain.

I'm very hopeful that Riley was the right hire. That is all. GBR

I may be wrong, but you'll see how good your boy Riley is.

Yes I will. But at the end of the day today, you are the moron that is soley focusing on his record at and inferior school. It's all good. I was right on Pederson and I was right on Pelini. I am confident is my belief in Riley.

I am focused on his record as well.

That's why I'm so impressed with him.

The guy has beat more top 10 teams than a ton of coaches out there, and he's done it at OREGON STATE.

You have a childish signature about being at different Mom's places, but yet you call me a moron? Wow.

By the way, I was looking at more besides his record. Regardless, all I can have is hope, and anyone who says otherwise is dreaming.

Good question. I have liked a lot of Nebraska players over the years, but I don't have any single favorite, what about you?

I'm guessing it is whoever had the best stats.

No it's more like QB MaCathorn Clayton, his multiple fumbles, interceptions, and jitterbugging bullshit impressed me the most.

Speaking of stats, 3 losing seasons out the last 5 seasons impresses me too!

Bielema turned down an offer to coach at Nebraska. Riley was the 2nd choice.

Troll post is trolling.

Agreed Tom...even IF Riley is the 2nd, third OR fourth choice it don't matter now. Braska has a players coach who by the end of their careers will telling all how much they are indebted to Riley. Mix this in with the talent pool Braska has...the skys the limit now.

I was a Braska fan before, now I am a HUGE Braska fan...knowing what is coming your way.

Back to Lincoln/Husker glory...hell, by NEXT YEAR! :yahoo:
