Three Trades involving Simmons I ran across.

1. Simmons for CJ McCollum

2. Simmons & Danny Green for Andrew Wiggins, Kelly Oubre Jr & a 2022 2nd rounder

3. Simmons, Tyrese Maxey, Danny Green, '21 & '22 first rounders for Bradley Beal & Davis Bertans

If any of this has been mentioned my bad. Didn't go back through any comments.

1. I thought along these lines.
2. Warriors don't need another Dray
3. That looks awfully expensive for Beal IMO. He's another guy that has always been on bad teams, and when he went off last year, his team tended to lose. I'm not sold on him.

Absolute insanity. It's like the proverbial elephant scared of the mouse.

While it's a play that shows his lack of confidence, it did end well with 2 pts and an assist for Simmons.

76ers gotta do something about Simmons. Doubt he can magically turn his FT woes around during the off season.

He shot 61% during the regular season,. and 70% and 57% the past two postseason. He needs to fix his confidence more than anything else IMO; he was seriously rattled at the line during this postseason for some reason.

Maybe his nerves get the better of him come playoff time?

I have no idea. Just trying to think of reasons why he's in that funk right now.

Is he nursing an unreported injury? He did miss some time with knee soreness during the regular season. Did trade rumors mess up his head? Something in his personal life? Tough to say without some inside info...

With what he has "shown" in the post season and how his god awful FTs shooting has F'd with his head and made him incapable of seeing the court in the final minutes WHAT TEAM WOULD want him and his max contract?

I think you'd be surprised at who would take a shot at him. He is 24 years old, and still has a lot of upside. If he can get in the right system, with some help, he could possibly flip back to the guy that everyone thought was going to be the next Magic Johnson. I would think there are more than a few teams that would give up some things to have a shot at trying to fix what is broken with him.

Before he had his multiple game hiatus there was some social media stuff of his sister losing her shit claiming that she was abused sexually by the brother of she and Ben. Not sure if anything came of that but that may be some off the court stuff he’s dealing with. At the same time, that’s not an excuse for who he is as a player and why he hasn’t improved. But it could explain the regression.

Certainly would explain his head being messed up. Could've been some topical heckling to stir that up too...

Well Doc said the 76ers had a "plan" for him so perhaps he won't be traded. Unless Embid gets pissed enough at him and demands either he or Simmons gets traded

My biggest fear is that Embiid will force himself out.

That's just coach talk...

... what else is the team gonna say, "Ben's a problem and he has to go"?

Blow it up again (if your hand is forced)

Wiggins, Wiseman, 2 firsts this year for him is a pretty good haul

Trade Simmons for more firsts, Harris and Curry too. Start over!

Especially when you consider he has elite handles, is an elite passer, defender and finishes at the rim really well.
